A cultural program was organised by SAMAGRA SHIKSHA ABHIYAN (2023-24) at Navyug School Pandara Park on 20 March 2024. The aim was to promote cultural activities among students. Our students from classes 6 to 8 participated enthusiastically in a variety of activities like traditional dance of Punjab, Essay writing, Poster Making, Skits, etc, and performed with great zeal. Our young performers made the school proud by securing First Position in Gidda & Second Position in Essay Writing Activity . All the three positions for poster making competition were secured by our students. They were awarded with a trophy and certificates. The program was a great success & a good platform for students to showcase their talent.
Financial Literacy Program by CBSE for School Teachers An insightful workshop was organized by CBSE on 14th March 2023 on 'FINANCIAL LITERACY & USE OF DIGITAL TOOLS ' in the school premises.The two-hour session was conducted in offline mode in which teachers of all segments participated by registering themselves through the link provided by CBSE. The keynote speakers Mr.Mandeep Singh Arora, Relationship Executive Distribution Expansion-ICICI Prudential Asset Management Company Limited and Mr.Himanshu Sharma,Trainer, emphasized the importance of financial Literacy for teachers in daily life & deliberated on different methods of savings and investment. The teachers actively clarified their doubts on the importance of mutual funds, shares, investment & importance of life insurance & term plans and also how to deal with funds & finances. A certificate was issued to each participant by CBSE upon successful completion of the training program.
